Rob Thomas has just taken to his official Facebook account to announce plans to postpone the Great Unknown tour due to his wife Marisol having treatment. She has a possible lesion on the base of her brain, so naturally he wants to take care of her during that time. What a great guy.

Rob posted the following update on Facebook:
Fans and friends,
By now many of you have read the press release and realize that Mari and I are going through a bit of a rough patch.
Last week, after an MRI for something unrelated, doctors saw what seems to be a lesion on the base of Mari’s brain.
We are being cautiously optimistic that this is something we caught early and can take care of in the near future but, as I’m sure you can all understand, we had to temporarily postpone some of the tour dates so that we can focus only on this for a while.
We are so thankful for all of your well wishes and really believe in the good that positive energy can do.
While this is all we are focused on right now, we will get through it and be able to share many more moments together and with all of you in the future.
Thanx for your love and understanding.
Mari and Rob
